Compared to the other places in Davis, this place is a little better. There's a larger variety of flavors, textures, and ingredients used in the sushi rolls that they offer. The Lion King was delicious and there was one that was basically the lion king with cream cheese: now that, was amazing.

Bring an appetite because there are so many rolls to try. I love that they serve half rolls instead of full rolls since it allowed me to try a larger variety of rolls.

    Now some cons:
    - can't order sashimi with the all you can eat
    - some of the rolls aren't good but that's not really a big deal since they have so many that are delicious

There's a separate menu with individual prices for rolls, sashimi, and fish jaws that you can order off of that's not included in the all you can eat price.

Can't wait to try this place again

Look, it's an all you can eat buffet and it's the best in Davis. That being said, none of them really are a 5 star all you can eat and that's fine. I will still keep coming here before I decide to try another all you can eat sushi. It hasn't made me sick, I eat way more than I should, and the waiters know you're about to pig out. Their roles are custom catered for all you can eat. Mostly crab and shrimp roles, the rice is unavoidable, but when you work your way around the menu you eventually come across gems that makes what you pay worth every dollar.

If you want an all you can eat sushi spot in Davis this is the place you should be going to. I go quite frequently whenever I can afford it and never regret it. Other than eating too much ...

What a deal for simple AYCE sushi!  The price (I believe) is $16/lunch and $20/dinner, and they offer a 5% cash discount.  However, I think they do charge if you over order/leave extra.  Nami serves various nigiri and rolls, and various appetizers and a small selection of desserts.  Everything is made to order.

I've been to Nami a couple of times and have tried the following:
    Appetizers:
-Chicken Katsu: a deep fried panko breaded chicken, with a savory sauce. It comes with 4-5 pieces and is very filling.
-Tempura Shrimp and Veggies:  a thick-coating of tempura batter, but delicious flavor.  Pieces include a single piece of: shrimp, sweet potato, broccoli, green bean, and carrot.
-Sunomono:  a refreshing pickled cucumber dish.
-Gyoza:  pretty standard deep fried dumpling with some sort of meat and veggie filling.

    Rolls:
    -Dragon Roll
    -Summer Roll
    -Spider Roll
-I had a bunch of other ones, but I can't remember the names exactly.

    Desserts:
    -Donuts

My favorite items were probably the Dragon Roll, Tempura, and Donuts!  Honestly, majority of the rolls all started tasting the same... but, still, they were delicious and filling.  While this is a sushi place, I have to admit the star came at the end of the meal with these freshly fried sugar donuts.  I'd come back again for just the donuts (I actually did and just ordered donuts ala carte takeout LOL).

Bottom Line:  a no frills AYCE sushi place with an affordable price!

Came here after the awesome Pokémon "Shiny torchic" day, we never come here in the past so we were clueless.  We ordered appetizer and realized this place is "eat all you can" for $20! So we ordered more sushi rolls.

People (servers) is very friendly and their television was on and has closed captioned! They were watching basketball- that's what I like.

    Food is.. heaven.

Atmosphere is kinda small but I am not complaining.

This used to be my favorite place to go back in 2012 - super cheap but pretty decent ayce sushi for like $12. Boy do things change.

I literally felt like I was eating in a different restaurant.

The decor and Chinese speaking waitstaff all seem the same but the sushi was a world apart. It pains me to say this about my fav sushi place in davis but the food was so mediocre and bland. All the fish tasted as if it had been sitting in the freezer for a whole week and the rice wasn't very good either. I mean if you go with your California roll with imitation crab and avocado it'd probably taste alright like ur trader Joe's sushi but the sashimi was soooo stale. I literally felt the fish dying in my mouth :(

On the bright side, they still do the sushi boat and party platters for parties of 6+ for a cool Instagram opp! Parking readily available as well.
